How InMatcha handles buyer data.
InMatcha is a business-to-business matcha sourcing brand. This page explains what we collect when a commercial buyer contacts us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.

Short answer
We collect what a sourcing conversation needs, and nothing more.
If you send a sample or pricing enquiry, we receive the details you type into the form so we can reply with a suitable sample route. We do not sell buyer data, and we do not use it for advertising.
What we collect
Information you give us
All of it comes from the enquiry form or from an email you send us. There is no account creation and no payment processing on this website.
Name, company, business email, and optionally a phone or WhatsApp number.
Destination market, intended application, estimated volume, packaging direction, and any documentation requirements you describe.
Whatever you write in the project details field, plus the page you submitted from.
Automatic data
Information collected in the background
Like most websites, this one records limited technical data. It is used to keep the site working and to understand which buyer pages are useful.
We use Google Analytics to see aggregate page views, referral sources, and country-level traffic. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Our CDN and hosting provider log IP addresses and request data to serve pages and block abuse.
Cookies on this site are used for analytics and basic site function. You can block or delete them in your browser without losing access to any page.
Use and sharing
Why we hold it and who sees it
Enquiry data is used to answer your enquiry, prepare a sample route, and continue a commercial supply discussion. It is handled by InMatcha staff working on your enquiry.
We do not sell, rent, or trade buyer data to third parties.
Data may sit with the service providers that run this website and our email, acting on our instructions.
For buyers in the EU and UK we rely on legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Retention and rights
How long we keep it, and how to remove it
We keep enquiry records while a sourcing conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a repeat discussion. If a conversation does not lead anywhere, we remove the record on request.
Can I ask what you hold about me?
Yes. Email [email protected] from the address you contacted us with and we will tell you what enquiry records we hold.
Can I ask you to delete it?
Yes. Ask us in writing and we will delete your enquiry record and confirm once it is done.
Do you send marketing email?
We reply to enquiries and may follow up on an active sourcing discussion. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we stop.
Is data transferred outside the EU?
InMatcha operates internationally, so enquiry data may be accessed outside the EU or UK by the staff handling your enquiry.
