Description
A chashaku is a thin curved bamboo scoop, and its whole purpose is that one level scoop holds about 1 g of matcha. Two scoops is a bowl, three is a latte. You stop needing a scale.
It also does something a metal teaspoon cannot: the flat edge lets you level the powder and scrape the inside of a tin clean without scratching it.
Care
- Wipe dry after use. Bamboo and standing water do not get along.
- No dishwasher.
